Last Tuesday a 6 man Waratah Masters team joined over 250 other riders at the ‘Below the Belt’ pedalthon at SMSP.

The 3 hour event was all about raising funds for ANZUP which provides funds for clinical trials to improve outcomes for people with Prostate, Testicular, Bowel or Kidney cancer.

The team of Sandy Watt, Murray Henwood, Ian Jorgensen, Roger Bourne and Graham Jones collectively travelled over 550kms covering approximately 143 laps of the SMSP circuit.

All agreed it was a great work out on a great day for a great cause. Hopefully we can attract more Waratah’s to support the event next year.
