In case you haven’t already heard, the Clubs Road Race Championships will be held this Sunday, 10 September, at Lansdowne Park. This is a day for Club members only.
Each Men’s Masters Category, 1 to 11, will have its own race. Please note we’ve added an M11 category this year as we now have a good number of M11’s of which we’re all very proud. Some categories may be combined if numbers warrant.
As our Women’s membership is low, it’s proposed to have two races, an under and an over 45 years race. If agreed by participants, the Women’s group may be allowed to ride within an appropriate Men’s category.
Medals will be awarded to all winners and place getters and presented at the Club’s annual dinner in December.
The event is only open to Waratah members and entry is free. Start times are: 7.45am for MMAS 1 to 5 and WMAS under 45; 9.00am for MMAS 6 to 11 and WMAS over 45
All Waratahs are encouraged to participate in this enjoyable Club event. Even if you don’t manage to pick up a medal it’s one of the few opportunities we all have to meet and mix with our fellow Club members. It’s requested that Club jerseys be worn by all riders.
