Have you ever considered tackling a velodrome? Intrigued by the idea of riding around a 42 degree banked tracked? Do you want to improve your sprint or perfect that smooth cadence?

The 2018 Waratah Masters Club Track Championship will be held on 10th March at Dunc Gray Velodrome in Bankstown.

We would like more club members to participate and in order to encourage those of you who might be interested but have not yet experienced the exhilaration of a velodrome we have booked two “Try the Track” days at Dunc Gray. The first will be on 4th January at 2pm and the second on 7th February at 9:30am.

These sessions are usually limited to a small group and we need to know numbers for the first session by 1st January in order to organise correctly sized bikes so if you’re keen please contact Stephen Joyce stephen.george.joyce@gmail.com or Terry Freshwater freshwatert@ymail.com.

In order to encourage participation, the club will pay $50 per rider towards the cost of bike hire, coaching and track hire.
